YEAH! #1: I'm 95.7% (3sf) (LOL) going to study Applied Mathematics in one of the Top 30 Universities of the world, NUS.
YEAH! #2: I've got myself a pair of army spectacles and I promised myself I'm going to wear my specs more often.
YEAH! #3: My eye-sight did not worsen despite not wearing specs regularly for over 2 years. (I started owning a pair of spectacles 10 years ago.)
YEAH! #4: I passed my last Driving Lesson subject, which means I can book my Driving Test on 18 May onwards!
YEAH! #5: Outings!

I think, and I hope, that it's just a camp.

Ok. I'm back from holiday. Which also means that March holidays are over. You might ask why that's relevant to me. It's because since I work in a school, I conveniently stopped working before the March holidays commences. So since the March holidays are over, I'm now jobless, to enjoy my life before I enter NS. But instead of enjoying it, I'm feeling so bored. Besides going for driving lessons everyday, I don't think I've been doing anything productive. If using Facebook is productive, then what I'm doing everyday would be productive. And since I'm so free, I took this opportunity to inflict some pain and inconvenience to myself, by extracting my wisdom teeth (since plural) out from their "gum caves". Bear in mind that I'm supposed to be enjoying myself during this period. And knowing that I will have a swollen mouth and problems eating, I still went on to organise a class outing 2 days after my wisdom tooth operation, risking the possibility of an embarrassment that I might receive when I openly "exhibit" my swollen mouth to my friends. But people whom I might see me ~~tomorrow~~ today at the class dinner and are reading this, don't be too happy also because you can't really see that my mouth is swollen even though I can feel that indeed it is swollen. Also, by taking out my wisdom teeth (since plural), I wonder whether I have become more dumb. (Get it?) What do you think?

omg. what did I just write?

I just did a Facebook quiz a few days ago, and it says that the name of the person that I would marry in the future would start with the letter "M". haha. Mine does. And I have thought, quite a few times, how I would like to name my children. Let me share with you guys, for fun.

But first, I think I should be thinking about my university admissions and other issues that would come before children, like jobs! After reading more about the subjects I plan to take and after clarifying things with some organisations, I feel that I am most comfortable with studying at NUS, majoring in Applied Mathematics and minoring in Statistics. Think it opens up my career options even more as compared with just Statistics alone. Well, that is what I want to do for now, who knows, in 2 years time, when I make the final decision, my choices might change again.

Yeah to the class dinner tomorrow. Hope that it would be fun.

Hi, my dear friends who read my blog,

How have you been? I miss going out with you people. I miss going to school with my friends, I miss Council, I (surprisingly) miss the college life. I want to go back in time! haha. Who wouldn't?

Ok. I'm going bonkers due to the lack of sleep. I should be sleeping now. But I just wanna tell everyone how much I'm missing them. haha. Can't believe i said that.

Weekends are here, finally. Break from work but gotta prepare for next week's lessons as I'm (relief)teaching SeniorHigh1 (JC1) for a week. And I'm kinda sad that I need to give up my personal workstation in the staff room because there's new trainee teachers coming in next week and so I've gotta squeeze with everyone else in the Staff Workroom. haha. And I'm still waiting for my January's paycheck from MOE. Gotta update my Bankbook soon.

Yah. Ok.

I just realised I've never visited my own blog for a very long time already!

I wonder what my friends are doing these few days. Working? Going out? Stoning at home? lol. I've not actually went out with people for a really long time already. Except meeting them in school?!

Ok. After seeing the NJC mass dance videos (2009, 2008, 2007 and previous years) on Youtube just a moment ago, I was overwhelmed by some strong emotion and gosh, I suddenly felt so sad and EMO! Seeing glimpse of the Student Lounge (which by the way, is now inaccessible by almost the whole student population), snippets of the days during Orientation, and in addition, seeing the students and OGLs enjoying themselves everyday in school during O2 for the past week, it makes me want to go back to the Orientation days again! I want to go to school again. I want to wear that diamond collar pin again. OMG. I want to wear that grey uniform again, so that I can go to school with my friends. LOL.

I better stop. I don't want to be overwhelmed by that strong gush of emotion again.

S05's Sentosa outing ended up at Vivo. So we spent the whole day at Vivo eating, talking, walking, watching movie (Twilight!) and bridging because it drizzled almost the whole afternoon. But nevertheless, quite de fun.

(Poor skills + Used MS Word) As you can see from our dressing, we didn't expect to spend the day at Vivo!

Woah. It has been about 9 days since I last blogged. And really lots of things happened i think. Let me summarise them in point form.

4/12: Went to play bowling with G^2 (we still exist!) and had laobeijinghighteabuffet. Not forgetting grabbing the free Starbucks coffee from Starbucks. And going around Bugis searching for things Pong needed for her job, which reminded me of how YEC went around Concourse searching for similar stuffs.
5/12: 2504 came to my house for class gathering. it was really nice seeing everyone again after approx 2/3/4 years! the nicest part was when we talked about stuffs that happened 4, 5 years ago in Anderson, like the totally unreasonable and crazy DC, the "innocent" balloon drawings that made Mrs Wong damn pissed etc. Fond memories.
6/12: Can't remember what I did. But all I know, I watched Arsenal win, 1-0.
7/12: Went to Sentosa, which spurred me to organise a class outing, dined at Marché, watched Singapore win 3-1.
8/12: Slacked at home.
9/12: Was supposed to go to the gym with Huaice, Yao Rong and Hash. Ended up going to the gym with them (Hash brought us to ther gym at Singapore Polo Club for free), had a lunch ~~treat from Hash~~ there, wandered around in J8 after Hash went to work, went to Yao Rong's house, watched Kung Pow (which is an extremely dumb movie, go and watch it! Here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X3yzuPwWas&feature=related but the movie itself is much funnier), cycled around a small area in Bukit Timah (which is very big), chit-chatted at his house, then went home. Nice impromtu day.
10/12 and 11/12: I merely stayed at home, filled up some scholarship and job applications online, read Twilight, watched movies, TV shows and Arsenal lose to Porto?
12/12: All the best to those enlisting today or tomorrow! Gonna develop some 07S05 and Grad Night photos to make into an album. I've already made a 2504, 4706 and NJCouncil album each. Tonight, I'm going for the 4th gathering I've organised this holiday, and watching Bolt.

Sunday's class outing would be the 5th.

I still want the freedom. But I've got to find a job.

My 111st post.

Monday was Grad Nite. Besides my camera being spoilt that night, everything was not bad, the programme, the photo taking, the post prom, the people, the fun. Maybe the food was another disappointment. But really, I think I enjoyed myself quite a lot. And I think it was better than Anderson's Grad Nite when I was in Sec 4.

For post prom, the councillors wanted to go to ButterFactory but when we reached there, some weren't interested so they left first. Then the remaining people tried to enter but to no avail since YR was still underaged. So we decided to just walk around and maybe go for a drink. Yups. So we ended up in some pub/cafe/restaurant (i dunno how to call it) and the guys had some beer and the girls had juices and shakes i think. Then about 1am we left and some people went home while YR, H and I went to find our class, who were already enjoying some drinks along the Singapore River at Central. Along the way, we found YR and H a little high (I shouldn't use drunk cos I admit they weren't drunk yet), laughing at literally nothing, and pointing out that there were butterflies when actually there weren't any. Then when the 3 of us found our class, we also found Sean a little high too. So the 4 of us (YR, H, Sean and I), we went to Cheers to get more drinks. I tried this drink that has a little higher alc. content than Tiger which was not bad. So our class ended up playing zhongzimima and drank, and played Truth or Dare until 3 plus. Woohoo! First time staying out in the open at such wee hours in the morning. Then we walked back to Swissotel (with the high people singing happily along the way back) and played Bridge and Daide until 6 plus. Then slept until 8 plus! 2 hours only! Slacked around, watched TV then went to Gelare for Half-priced waffles for brunch!

Today (Wednesday), went to PS to celebrate Michele's birthday with Mich, Nich, H, Teena and I. Ate at Ichiban Sushi. The table was so full! Then Teena left and we watched Quarantine. It was scarier than almost all the horror movies that I've watched so far! But sadly to say, there isn't much of a storyline. Then H and I went for Ms Darshini's wedding with the class. It was kinda cool. It's the first time I'm attending a traditional Indian wedding. The photos that Ms Darshini took with her husband were so cool especially the Liverpool one. And they are really a cool couple. They even have a well-maintained wedding website. I keep on using the word "cool" cos they are really cool. Saw quite a lot of teachers and schoolmates there.

Ok. Here's something to thank you guys, my readers, for reading my blog. Basically what I typed sounds like Truth or Dare. Lol. Maybe next time you have lesser questions to ask me le. Haha.

Ok. Now after reflecting on more than one incident that happened today, I realised how sensitive I am to surroundings, to people around me. It has been happening for so many years now and to a certain extent, I think I'm suffering from some mental illness, but maybe not in a serious condition yet.

I think I'm too sensitive. Always seem to have wild thoughts after what someone said or through their actions / body language, when actually maybe nothing really happened. Or maybe what I've thought is really true. Then I start worrying that maybe I've really done sth wrong or said sth wrong. Argh. I hate this feeling.

While on the other hand, sometimes I also dunno how come some ppl can end up saying some "not so nice things", hopefully, it was accidental. I wonder whether people do take notice of what they have just said. Then when that happens, I start to think about myself, do I insult or say some negative stuff about others too, accidentally, without even noticing. Argh. I'm sorry if I did.

I just don't understand some people, really. People take things for granted, that's all. Especially when other people do things for them, putting in effort, time and all, and they take it for granted. If you don't want, it's ok, nobody's forcing you. And I really dunno why I keep doing it, when I'm not even sure whether people appreciate it or not. Then when I feel that some people aren't appreciative, I try to adopt a "selective" approach, which others might think that it isn't right. So I might as well not label it as "class" or simply do not do it at all. I feel like I'm so dumb.

Ok. You know sometimes I really feel like making this blog private because some things that I say, some people might not agree with it and may think that I love to complain so much. haha. I'm starting to become sensitive again. But a particular incident really happened on this blog before.

Yeah. I feel much better now. After typing everything down. But to think of it, why do people write down their private thoughts and feelings on blogs, for the whole world to see! Instances such as Straits Times (is it?) visiting Sean's blog and there's McDonald's which visited William's blog, according to him. This cases showed how open blogs are and really everyone can read it!

Ok. I think what I really need is time alone, to do what I really want and not to be forced by others to do things that I do not like. Well, some people would know what I'm talking about, actually maybe only one, who definitely wouldn't read my blog.

Ok. I'm so glad I finally went out with FRIENDS again! can u believe it, TODAY IS THE FIRST TIME AFTER As THAT I WENT OUT WITH MY FRIENDS! shocking rite? haha. but I've made sure that I would be going out almost everyday next week because I've organised 2 class gatherings and 1 birthday celebration, also there's grad nite and other things. haha. That's an example of taking initiative.

So today we went out just to get prom clothes. But after lunch and after walking around for about 2 hours, we went to watch a movie. Nobody got anything for grad nite. haha. Looks more like an excuse to get together and go out and have fun. Ok. So we watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua in the end, which is a silly but funny movie. AND during the advertisements before the movie started, due to one funny advertisement, HUAICE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO LAUGHED OUT SO LOUDLY UNTIL E WHOLE CINEMA HEARD HIM. I belived some people laughed, not at the advertisements, but at his laughter.

Being random again, here are some shows which I somehow become addicted to these days:
1. Channel 8's 10 Brothers
2. Star World's Friends Series (?!) (like now then i start watching them)
3. Channel U's Forensic Heros
4. Channel 5's So You Think You Can Dance (channel 5's showing season 3, whereas in America, its already Season 5!)
5. Channel 5's Don't Forget the Lyrics - Singapore (which haven't come out but I'm sure I'll be addicted to it soon)
6. All of Arsenal's matches that fall in between this time interval: 1900hrs to 0100hrs, Singapore local time (the rest I wouldn't watch cos sleeping is more important!)
7. Channel 5's Makan Places Lost and Found, Singapore OK! (I even watched it during the A level prep period!), Survivor (and previously shows like The Noose, I Survived a Japanese Game Show and First Class) BUT I have to refrain from watching all these on point number 7, all else my parents will be mad at me!

And they're making me go to the gym or run almost everyday!

Yeah. I'm back.

The past few days were not exciting but not boring either. But the day I came back from Krabi was really a terrible day plus Arsenal lost unexpectedly that night. I dare say I know the reason why they aren't scoring goals and are playing so badly. I hope AW knows it too.

I'll upload pics some day, like some beautiful pics which i took of the Thai beaches (which i edited :P) and pics of my entry proof which i destroyed when i was clearing all my As stuff on Saturday. And my table is so neat and empty now!

Ok. What a boring post (i think). Can't wait to go out with you guys again!

I'm going to make sure I spend my 3.5 months before enlistment very productively. And I'm going to make sure I attend Orientation 2009 and see the little kids and laugh at them in their short charcoal bermudas and bully them and frighten them and tell them that they had made the wrong choice in their selection of schools and cut their queues in the canteen since the canteen aunty and uncles can't see them in the queue as they're so short. But actually there's two more things that I hope to be able to do in school next year!

And to travel overseas during the March holidays.

Ok. Stop dreaming.

Friday

Was Graduation Day (aka. Farewell Assembly).

Well, it didn't feel like we had graduated at all because:

Firstly, we still had Mr Wong's extra lessons on Friday itself, on the following Monday, Thursday and Friday. Plus, the many consultations and study sessions in school the following week. We'll still see each other in school again after all.

Secondly, it wasn't a graduation day, not even a graduation ceremony. It was really just a Farewell Assembly. I think it was equivalent to just saying "Bye! You're on your own now! The next time we'll see you would be during your GP Paper! Good Luck!" and end of assembly. And what do I mean by that? There were no seats, no blazer/tie, no certs, no emo videos, no farewell gifts (besides a "unique" college pin), no sing along session or what-so-ever. This was what we did:

Review of Prelim Results (during Farewell Assembly!!!)
Briefing for A Level Examinations (during Farewell Assembly!!!)
Principal's Speech
Student Council President's Speech
A video showcasing the college's performing arts events and CCA groups (where's the emo video?)
Photo slideshow of Grad Nite '07 (it was supposed to be a video that would make us not regret coming for this ~~Graduation Ceremony~~ Farewell Assembly!!! huh? a bit no link...)

Explaining where the $700++ that we donated to the school, would go to
Returning of Prelim Results Slip (during Farewell Assembly!!!)
Time to fill up surveys and forms: One on our college life (see previous post), one for student leaders that only had 2 questions (which Huaice helped me to fill up) and to check our CCA records (during Farewell Assembly!!!)
(and to be fair to the college,) a buffet (I wouldn't want to comment on it because if I do, you might think I'm being choosy or fussy about food or what, but I believe almost everyone thinks that the food "could have been much much better", the last part of the sentence was deleted because I don't want to get into trouble.)

How interesting it was!

Ok. I shan't rant about the FA anymore. But I just don't understand why the other JC's can enjoy "slightly better" Graduation Ceremonies, such as the college across the road, which had a Graduation Night, and everyone wore a tie and got a unique bear, wearing the H** C**** Tee, and received a certificate from the Principal (i think) one by one. Is it because of financial reasons? Or what? Or is it because they entered their college with slightly lower points than us? So they're smarter than us and can enjoy better treatment?

Ouh, by the way, all we got when our college received the School Excellence Award (which a neighbourhood school like X** M*** Secondary received in 2004!) is a pen + highlighter, which says "an JC celebrates our achievement of the School Excellent Award." Woah so useful! I'm so going to use the pen + highlighter to do my homework! (By the way, I took approx 10 seconds before I could remember where my pen was!)

So tell me, why spend so much money on the pens, when even the teachers can tell you that less than 1% of the students would really use it / treasure it? Might as well spend it to get each graduating student a house bear, as shown below. I believe more people would treasure it, than the pen or the "unique college pin".

Ouh. And Jay See...

Ok. So after the ~~Grad Ceremony~~ Farewell Assembly, we camwhored and took a lot of photos (I'll either upload some in the post above or below this), and yeah, that really saved the day. So we went from the hall to the linkway to the pond, to TA18, to LT2 to LT5, then to the Crest, where we accidentally witnessed a pair ~~showing~~ about to show some affection towards each other. Tried to take some pictures of them secretly but Weiwen decided to be a lightbulb so he went to talk to the guy. Then after that, we left.

I was stoning during the Econs Extra Lecture at 1pm. Then we wrote for each other in our blue OG7 book after the lecture. Ok.

Then William, Yao Rong, Pong, OPY, Chien Hao and I went to the field and tried to imitate the Open Day 2008 poster.

We tried our best.

After which, William and Yao Rong left. And the four of us, Pong, OPY, CH Lin and I headed for Changi Airport (CA for short)! Woohoo! After reaching CA MRT, somehow we wanted to go Popeyes for dinner but didn't know which terminal it was. So we just roamed about in Terminal 2, cos we thought it was in Terminal 2. Yups, until we asked the security aunty who said it was in Terminal 3, so we boarded the Sky Train to T3!

Yeah! We're in Terminal 3! Then I remembered we acted like little kids, playing with the trolley and skipping about. Lol. And ran towards the playground! And was so fancinated about the fountain. But the best-est of them all, was to join the little kids at the colouring station. (I was trying to type here, in words, describing what we did at the colouring station, but to no avail, cos it wasn't really colouring. In simple terms, it was shading a piece of paper on a carved wooden block using crayons. Upon completion, you'll get a design of CA on the paper. Ok. If you want to know what it is all about, go check it out at Terminal 3 Basement 2!) Pong, on the other hand, felt it was uber childish and being the matured her, she went off without telling us. So when we were done playing, we went around finding her, like little kids finding their mother, who has all their bags and stuff. Yah, so we found her at Popeyes with a table. Ok. (cut all the boring stuff) ... the food was really good... (cut all the boring stuff) ... we studied at this table near Mrs Fields and studied from 9 ... all ... the... way... to... like... erm... 3... no... 4... erm... no... longer... 5?... Yah, around there, that was when we, one by one, succumbed to sleep, and ended up sharing a round table, radius of approx 40cm, to sleep. Until around 6.30, we pulled ourselves out of ~~bed~~ the seat and had a short morning stroll to the viewing gallery, saw a few planes, then went to Ya Kun for breakfast. Then, after which, they went home ~~to sleep even more~~ and I went to welcome back my brother who coincidentally arrived back from India on the same day as our stayover, on Saturday.

Yups, it may not be so productive as what we had wished for, but still I did managed to complete some work. And it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo uber fun! haha. I remember the silly things that we did such as to run away and leave Pong alone when she came back from the toilet (to go and continue colouring at the colouring station at around midnight!!!), do the usual A-star cheer, played games, wash our mouths with Listerine, searching for a power point in Basement 2 at the wee hours of the morning so that OPY can charge her camera and comment on almost everything around us such as the woman who seemed to have locked herself in her shop because we guess, maybe she lives in her shop, and like how we expect to see her later in her pyjamas, opening a sleeping bag and preparing to sleep. Ok. We're lame.

Yups, but it was a fun and an exciting experience! Thanks Pong, Chien Hao and OPY for being so crazy as to stayover at Changi Airport to study with me! A..... Star! :)

I'm looking forward to mine.

But then, it means that my college life has come to an end.

A levels, then Grad Nite, then A level results, then it really ends.

I saw a few of my V J friends' photos. V J is definitely more happening and fun as compared to N J. No doubts. I know its "not right" for me to say this, given that I'm an ex-councillor and an ex-HAT-er, whose primary role is to build up the house spirit => (implies that) my role is to build up the school spirit. So if N J's college life seem less vibrant for whatsoever reason, it is indirectly my fault. But really, for some reason, V J council, or whoever it is, is able to come up with really creative ways to make an event more interesting. For example, our road run is just, a road run. Their road run is, a road run, plus lots of other interesting, but could be lame, stuff. And all the V ictorians take part in it actively. Even simple things like councillors dressing up for a school event, instead of everyone wearing the council tee, they think out of the box and have all the councillors dressed in plain tees, but decorated by each councillor with words such as "I'm the hottest student councillor", "Wa si (I am in hokkien) Student Councillor" or simply "iamastudentcouncillor". I mean, that's creativity and makes things more interesting and different. Like our NDC, TDC, Open Day, T&F Meet and maybe even Orientation, somehow we just keep on following what our seniors have done and what SHOULD be done. So, every year, we do not improve, but keep on doing the same things. We do not think out of the box, so surely we aren't able to come up with something really different and creative. I really wonder why didnt we think of such things then? I wonder how my life would be different if I'm in V J now, which was my first choice, if only it wasn't located so far away.

Well, all I can say is that I have no regrets coming to NJC, ~~maybe its because I don't really have a choice anyway.~~ But I enjoyed myself tremendously and met many great people. It was perhaps a life-changing experience to a certain extent.

Went to watch Wall-E today with Chien Hao, Huaice, OPY, Shitong, Yao Rong and Zhiyu. haha. Shall post more about it tomorrow, or rather later today. Plus, the interesting stuff about the bus ride home, the lift breaking down, the small vertical marathon etc. (Aiyah, i forgot what else I want to blog about already.)

I think the movie was not bad. If I'm not wrong, the words "Wall-E" and "Eve" was said more often than any other word in the English Dictionary. Wait. "Wall-E" is not even a word in the English Dictionary, thus making "Eve" the word in the English Dictionary that was said the most number of times in the whole movie. Or rather, it was pronounced as "Eve-ve".

I hate ass-am-arh-tee buses. Almost every single time I had unpleasant incidents on the bus, it had always got to be an ass-am-arh-tee bus. So that's why when I go to school every monrning, I always refrain from taking "the only ass-am-arh-tee bus service that ply between MacRitchie and NJC" (aka egg-fi-too). But there was one day, I chose to take it because I was late for school i think. So I went up the bus and it was already quite crowded, until I had to stand near to the front door. But somehow the bus "captain" seem to think that if he don't pick up passegers at every bus stop, he might end up being sacked, or something equivalent. He didnt realise that the bus that he was "captain-ing" was so uber full and he still let people board the bus at the subsequent bus stops. [edited] So there was this man who boarded the bus and he squeezed himself into the bus until he was almost like "one point zero times ten to the power of negative ninety-nine metres" away from me. I had to stand with my hands in front of my body and I really look like a satay stick. So I stood like that until he / I got off, and obviously since more and more people boarded the already crowded bus and very few people alighted the bus, that guy kept on squeezing, nudging and pushing me. Unbearable #1. [edited]

The next incident on an ass-am-arh-tee bus. Yesterday I took wan-sack-saven from PS. It was relatively empty. So I found a seat, at the back of the bus. It was the centre seat at the back. (So from the left, the 1st seat was taken, the 5th seat was taken too, so being a normal person, I chose the 3rd seat.) These two people were guys, you'll see why I emphasized this, later. Ok. Then at a particular stop, a lot of people came up, so being normal Singaporeans, they would all want to sit down. LOL. But then here came two guys, one who sat on my left, the other sat on my right. So 5 GUYS sharing the last row of seats. Well, it was super squeezy, so the person on the left squeezed me, the person on the right squeezed me. My shoulders were already "one point zero times ten to the power of negative ninty-nine metres" away from theirs. You might say its still bearable but what if the people were emitting some "not-nice scent". [edited] The person on the right was emitting some "perfume plus sweat" smell. Well, and the seat itself was "performing resonance" whenever the bus was stationary. Wah! Unbearable #2. [edited]

Well I thought that my day was bad enough already. Little did I know that when I reach my block, I would find the whole lobby dark and the lifts weren't working. It was kinda creepy. So I had to climb up the stairs and since I stayed on the highest floor, I had to climb all the way up to the 17th floor. I think I did it in less than 2 minutes! haha. Because some floors were totally dark and seriously, it was damn scary.

Ok. Let's move on to something more interesting. ~~Today~~ Yesterday we celebrated Teachers' Day! Half of my class didnt go for morning assembly because we were rushing to finish the cards for the teachers. We didnt go for the Aces Day workout and the performance too because we ended up playing Soccer and Basketball. Heard the performance was quite nice though. So Happy Teachers' Day to all the teachers!

Yeah! We have finally won it! Woots!
Spent 3.75 hours watching this nail-bitting encounter this afternoon! I'm so glad we won because I'm so afraid the same thing would happen just like in 2000 and 2004.

I watched the semi-final singles match in Sydney 2000 which Jing Jun Hong featured in. She lost.

I watched the semi-final singles match in Athens 2004 which Li Jia Wei did battle in. She lost.

I watched the bronze medal singles match in Athens 2004, which was Li Jia Wei's last chance of getting an Olympic medal there. She eventually lost.

I was so afraid that the same thing would happen in this semi-final. And it would have been so agonising.

Luckily it did not.

Yeah! So we won!

And I'm looking forward to Sunday's Table Tennis Women's Team Finals! (plus tomorrow's early match between Arsenal and West Brom - the first Premiership match in the 08/09 season for Arsenal!) (plus Michael Phelps's Finals and the 100m Track Finals during the weekends!)

Opps! Revision took a back seat today (maybe even tomorrow and on Sunday)! Well, Olympics doesn't come everyday!

Yeah! The Olympics has finally started! I can't wait to catch the swimming, table tennis, badminton, soccer and track events! And the opening ceremony was fantastic! Woots!

Ok. Back to 08/08/08. After NDC, (and Solaris won the NE Cup for the 1st time! LOL. I'm wearing the Solaris Tee now. haha.) my class went to Swensen's to use up our SGD100 voucher! And 20 people went. Like when will so many people ever go for a class outing?

Had lunch at Ikea, then went to school to meet Pong and Chien Hao. Crashed their consultation with Ms Darshini for about an hour and a half. Then they went to eat. William joined us in the canteen. After that, somehow we decided to go and watch movie. So went to Bytz and decided to catch the Dark Knight 3.30pm show at Cine. So off we (Pong, Chien Hao, William and me) went. But when we went there, we found out that it was sold out ard. We were there at like 3pm! So never mind, decided to change to Money No Enough at 3.50pm. But when we found out that the student's price of $6 lasted up to 6pm and not 5pm, we decided to stay on and catch the 5.10pm Dark Knight movie instead. So we ended up studying at the food court until 5pm.

The movie was fantastic. And guess who we saw in the cinema theatre! Marui! And someone... *coughs* Perhaps we were invading their privacy, cos we were sitting just in front of them. haha.

I wanted to blog last night but I guess I didnt because it was too late. So let's see what I can remember.

Friday

Stats Mock Test. It was so freaking tedious until the whole class (those who did not surrender and go home) went crazy. Everyone was like shouting here and there, busily checking answers and some people were making unnecessary noises. And did I mention this was a TEST? lol. Clearly it wasnt treated like a test. Partly because we took it in TA18 without any teachers around. Yah, and i think Jialin gave up halfway and went home because she felt like sleeping during the test. LOL.

Went to study for Nanyang Concept Test at KAP with William, Huaice, Chienhao and Pong after being forced out of school due to ~~the supposedly~~ early shut-down day.

Saturday

Nanyang Concept Test in school. Physics was in the morning, followed by Chem in the afternoon. The questions were tough, duh. And I didnt have time to finish both papers. Did the first 20 questions in 1.5 hours and the remainder 40 questions in 1.5 hours too. No wonder my answers for Qn 51 to Qn 57 for the Physics Paper were all Ds. Ouh. I just remembered. The answers will be out tomorrow. Haha. Let's see whether I'll pass. Haha.

Went for Terra 5-Generation Dinner at TCC @ Novena Square after that.

Finally there's no more GMs on thursday and for once, I can go to school "later" on thursdays! Yeah!

Another thing which I got to do today, which I had not done for a long long time, was to study in the library! I can still remember how muggy we were during PAE, when the whole class would just go to the library to study. DURING PAE! haha. So I stayed in the library to mug until 4 plus before I went home. And when I got home, I watched 1.5 movies! Watched KUNGFU PANDA finally and half of Superhero Movie. ~~They were downloaded.~~ :P

It didn't turn out as well as what I had expected.

I was looking forward to school today. But what I got was a terrible, tiring and dull day, with 2 tests and the returning of 4 scripts. Bad results. So far I've got BESU. Left with GP, which I'll most probably get tomorrow. Haiz. J2 CT results worse than J1 CT (and even promo) results.

Wake-up call.

How I wish the wake-up call was in March, and now we still have one more chance to redeem ourselves before the Prelims.

I was surprised that my mother wasn't angry when she found out that I failed both my sciences(!), got B for Maths(!) and nearly failed my Econs.

Finally stepped into school after 27 days. Somehow when I entered, I realised that I miss the school. I really don't mind school starting, because like what somebody told me, the new phase of my life has just started. Life without council would definitely be much different. Plus prelims and As are coming soon. My mother told me to countdown to the As. I think she sensed that I don't see the need to study hard now or something like that. Haiz. I'm kinda scared of Term 3 because I dunno how it would be like. It seems like as though it would be test after test after test. Non-stop tests and homework. It seems scary, so perhaps I should enjoy my last few days of holiday before IT STARTS.

Ok, back to the topic, the first place I went to upon reaching school was... Any guesses? Haha. It was none other than the council room. LOL. I dunno what made me go there. But I just went there to take a look at it. I was kinda happy that there were no councillors there. So I got some private time to peek into the room and see how it had changed. Yup. There are a lot of changes to the council room. The counter is gone. The shelf near the counter has been shifted to the other side of the room. The (quite useless) letter trays seem to be missing too. The sofas were shifted to weird locations. I personally feel that the lockers should be moved to the side. Then there'll be this open space in the heart of the council room where councillors can just sit on the floor for meetings. Maybe put a carpet there or something like that. Haha.

So after viewing the CR, I went to meet Mr Tan for the End of Term Review Session. It went quite well. Was around 1hr 10mins??!!! haha. It was basically my fault lah, because he asked me what I felt about HAT and the house system, and I think I told him A LOT regarding how I felt about them. The session turned out quite meaningful I think. Haha.

Tuesday

Class outing to East Coast Park! haha. It was so fun! The people who went were almost the same as those who went for Sean's housewarming. Those who didnt go, well, were the same few people who don't go for class outings. haha. We started cycling first from like 1140hrs to 1440hrs. It was just $6 for 1 hour, which came with 2 hours free and a free drink. So, haha, we cycled from the rental shop all the way to the end of ECP, then went past the YLTC camp site, then through this "Pulau Ubin-like" place then cycled along the Changi Airport runway, all the way to Changi Beach Park, which looked like ECP, so we just took a short break, then cycled all the way back to the rental shop. Woah. As you can see, the sentence is so long, but the distance that we travelled was even longer. haha. I don't make any sense. We cycled for around 26km I think, which is even longer than the distance between our college and Sentosa. haha. Even though our thighs were very painful after this long ride, it was fun and worthed it. I also got sun burnt from this, but its ok. Then we went to BK and met Levon and Jialin (and Marui, who stopped cycling halfway) for lunch. Chatted and took some pics and did some dares and ate. Then we broke into two groups - one went for Bridge tournament (LOL), while the other group (of 4 people) went to the Arcade. So just nice, the 8 of us who went to play our class sport (Bridge) broke into 2 groups, 4 each and played. The 2 losers from each round would have to switch with the other 2 losers. haha. So its fair and not so boring. Dont need to play with the same people each round. Then we went to play with water, fly kite, camwhore and chat. Then some people left. So Levon, Zhiyu, OPY, Marui, Shitong, Chienhao and me, we went to Taka for dinner, since there's direct bus from ECP. Along the way, we really crapped a lot, sometimes even attracting attention from others. haha. Then OPY left so the rest of us went to eat Crystal Jade at Taka. Lots of people. So we finally got a seat at like 840? We ate Lamians and Caofans and shared Xiaolongbaos. Haha. Yah. Luckily, I went home and managed to catch 30 mins of When Rules Turn Loose (haha. So wierd to type it in English).

Wednesday

Today, went out with some councillors to watch Get Smart. OMG. Its one of the best movies I've watched this holiday. And this is a REAL comedy, unlike Drillbit Taylor. So many funny scenes. And Huaice was once again the only one, in the whole cinema, who laughed loudly during some scenes. And and we saw some wierd ~~women~~ men today. Two in fact. Before we booked the movie, we saw one of them, who just wore a button-shirt, so it looked like a mini dress. I dont think ~~she~~ he wore any shorts! Then after the movie, we saw another ~~woman~~ man who was walking in a very girly way and according to Jieying, he was smiling to himself. Then, he went for facial! lol. how come cathay always got these ppl?

Today, we went for Captain-treat-HAT! yeah. It was at NewYorkNewYork (again). We all had the set lunches, which came with soup, drinks and the main course. Quite a good deal, at a price of $15/person. Then, we all ordered the cheesecake which came with the set lunch for a further $1.50. But to our dismay, it was sooooooo small. We were all kinda shock when they put two on one plate, because we weren't sure whether the one plate was for one person or for two. LOL. It ended up that there were two servings on each plate. So it was quite saddening. It came in small nice bowls shaped in a heart. But its really small. But nevermind. Weiwen was treating and the whole set lunch was not bad. So it was OK.

Tomorrow, class outing to ECP! haha. Everyone better go. It'll be fun. And I might end up roller-blading since Chien Hao wants to, also. And I'm sure I'll fall. Because that was what I did when I was in Sec 1, just only 3 years after I learnt it. Now, its been 8 years since I learnt roller-blading. haha. I'm sure to fall down tomorrow. Maybe I should just stick to cycling, which I have also not done for a long time already. Haiz.

Ok. Back to today, we went to watch movie after Captain-treat-HAT. Actually I, no, we wanted to watch Kungfu Panda. But there wasnt a appropriate timeslot at Suntec. So no choice, had to watch ~~the movie which Weiwen wanted to watch badly~~ Happening. Please dont make me comment on this movie. Maybe we should have watched Sex and the City. LOL. This means that I need to find another day to watch Kungfu Panda. :( And with who? Myself? haha.

Wednesday, going out with some good friends to watch Get Smart. Woots. This means that I'll most probably not be doing homework for many many days. Sigh.

Am I deceiving -- ------- and at the same time, harming myself? But how, I just cant concentrate and study. LIKE NOW.

Furthermore, Thursday is most probably half gone. Going to school for End of Term Review Session with Mr Tan. haha. I've not stepped into school for 24 days already. Cool...

Today was a fun day! Went to play badminton with Chien Hao, Huaice and Nicholas at Bishan Sports Complex. I suck at Badminton, especially after I took up Table Tennis, as the strokes are completely different. Haiz.

Then for lunch, went out with Ziyin, Pong and Seoh Ying. And they surprised me by getting for me belated birthday presents! hahax. Thanks guys! Went to Miss Clarity Cafe, which is super pink, food was not bad. Then went to Swensen's for 1-for-1 ice cream sundaes. So worth it lahs! Paid $4.60 for the $7.90++ sundaes. Then, they came my house, watched movie and sat on the swing.

Haiz. I miss my friends...

Looking forward to our stayover at Hash's place. Hope that a significant number of people will turn up.

Council Investiture is over. Council chalet is over. Council term is over.

Its really remarkable when not even a single councillor has regrets joining council.

I will forever remember the fun, stressful, fulfilling, tiring and exciting times we had together during that 373 days, which went by so quickly.

Like what OPY said, yesterday was a 1/4 Class Outing.

Today, Nicholas, Huaice, Hash, Yingzi, Xiuling and me went for a 1/10 Council Outing. LOL. Watched Drillbit Taylor. But sad to say, the guy who laughed hysterically in the movie theatre was more comical than the comedy itself. Get what I meant? And the person who kept on laughing hysterically in the theatre (for once) was not Huaice, except for the beginning, when he burst out laughing before everyone did. hahax.

Then after the movie, we went Daiso to shop for Investiture gifts. [Nicholas called Estella to ask her something, who casually told him that she was at Harbourfront too! And so coincidentally, she was actually in Daiso too! hahax.]

Today, 6 young children, with an average age of 17.5, went to watch an M-18 movie, called Harold & Kumar; Escape from Guantanamo Bay, after their Physics Paper.

Yes. We (Huaice, Huimin, Jia Lin, Evelyn, OPY and me) went to watch it today and it was so funny! Not that the movie was very funny though, but our expressions during and after the movie were very funny. Huaice was super disgusted and guilty after the show (and he kept complaining). But actually, most of us were like him too. (Everyone used the jackets or pullovers to cover our eyes when the disgusting parts were screened.) It was super disgusting lah! Ok. Its not really disgusting, its just that its very very nude, causing us to be very guilty after the movie. But those disgusting parts were sometimes quite funny. And we had to think so hard how to smuggle 3 big children under the age of 18 into the theatre! hahax.

NJ seemed to have some school outing to Cine today. Saw A LOT of NJCians there.

I really want to blog about something, but I know if I do blog about it, some people will be offended / sad / disappointed. That's why I have no choice but just keep it to myself for now.

And I need to clarify something:
1. I have pimples / had it before.
2. I do not go for facial or do something extraordinary to my face everyday.
This is because for some reason or another, a few people are asking me questions related to the above issue.

I want a new blogskin but I'm too lazy to go change it.

Reminder to myself: Don't be angry with some people's attitude. Some people are just under tremendous stress and unless you're in it, you won't know how much he or she is going through. Without knowing it, they might act a little irritating but they dont actually mean it. Need to learn to understand and help them. Why make yourself angry? Also, * is already quite good to you. Dont ask for too much! But i think sometimes, * does need to use a bit of his / her brains.

Everytime when I think about the recycling competition, I have this "painless headache".

And LS was fun - because of the food and the company! It was great. Actually my group is not bad too! hahax. Feels like a bonding session at times.

I am confused with my life, just like how you might be confused after reading some of my previous "misleading" and "confusing" posts.

There's only 1 other person besides me, who knows what those misleading letters in my previous personal message was about. But let me tell you now, they are the first letters in some people's name.

CNY Celebrations in school was not bad but we really screwed up the Total Defence section. But its ok... :)

Been eating quite a lot of cny goodies yesterday. really a lot. every few minutes / seconds, there's something popping into my mouth. if i were to ask ms koh (the pe teacher) to help me convert the amount of food i ate into number of calories, and then into the number of rounds i need to run in order to burn off the calories, i bet i would need a least 24 hours to complete the run, or even more!

ok. a few people told me to start blogging again. so here I am again, blogging...

woah. my previous post was EXACTLY ONE MONTH ago! hahax. what a coincidence!

wait. i know that you might be thinking that i dont have anything to blog and i'm just typing utter rubbish for the sake of blogging today. HAHA.

today: today i did a lot of things wrongly. or maybe its called wrong decisions, such as even taking the wrong bus home. ok. its not the wrong bus. its just that if you see a double-decker and a single-decker bus approaching the bus stop and you can take either one of the buses home, which one would you take? of course, the double-decker one right? more seats = higher probability of finding a seat to sit. but silly me, dont know why i chose to take the single-decker bus, and had to stand all the way. Even when i transfered onto the 2nd bus at MacRitchie, i made a silly decision. for some reason, the bus was quite empty and there were like many empty seats. but somehow i chose to stand. I CHOSE TO STAND!!! hahax. i also dont know why i just stood there when there were SOOOOOOO MANY empty seats in front of me! argh! bad day...

purple dino was angry today. i think its partly my fault too. didnt do e tut. nvm. must start doing and impress the dino. phy test, may get 3/20. haiz.

I wonder, doing all these that I am doing now, is it worthwhile?
Firstly, is it my duty, is it my job?
Because looking at the past, I doubt it was done this way.
It's him, it's him who is supposed to run the show.
And I, and them, are supposed to help.

But it seems like he hasn't done much.
Or rather maybe he isn't capable of doing much.
Or maybe he has no experience in doing it.
Or perhaps its his character and thus, he just cant do it.
So maybe we, or rather I shouldn't force him, scold him,
Because we are all different, very very different.

But I dont deserve it and he doesnt deserve it.

Ok. That was me typing what i am feeling NOW. Its not a poem, I dont know what its called. Its just a little story of what I want to say to someone at this moment, because I have tolerated it for months and its once again time for me to let go all my anger and frustration. I cant stand it anymore. This is the 3rd time in my life that I am in this state. Ok. Dont worry about me, I will pull through. I just need some time, especially during this hectic period. I really need to take a break.

After reading my senior House Captain's recent posts, I have this sudden urge to blog, to express my feelings too. These few days, or rather weeks, my life have been suddenly preoccupied with nothing but Orientation. Like what I said in my previous post, as a House Vice-Captain and a member in The Quest Committee, why is it that I have so many things to do, while some people dont? Really, the amount of work that I need to do just piles up and up and up. All I need is to get a call from somebody or an email from the teacher i/c or committee i/cs, and that means i have work to do again. I really need to tell my Juniors next year, to those who want to join council, you must be prepared that council is not just a CCA (ok, its not a CCA), or neither is it just a student organisation, working in council is really like taking up a job, being a councillor, that's an occupation you are talking about. If you are a student, fully dedicated to council and having a tough position like in EXCO or in HAT, then you must be prepared to hold two occupations - student and councillor. Its really tough but everytime when you complete the job, its really rewarding. And I am really happy to say that I definitely have no regrets joining council.

Recently, I met one of my friends from Anderson, who is currently in another JC's council. She asked me whether I would regret not joining council if I had not applied to be one this year in NJ. Without hesitation, I said "yes". To think of it, I had always wanted to join council. Being a prefect in Primary School, I knew how fun it is to be in a student organisation in school. I miss primary school days, not because of my friends, teachers or class, but its because I was a prefect. When I think about life in Ai Tong, the first thing I would think of is how fun it was to be a prefect, having this special privilege of not doing silent reading when everyone else had to and being able to walk around the school, talking to other prefects and well, breaking the "rules" of being a prefect. Not forgetting, catching people! I also had this special opportunity of investigating a case about another prefect stealing test papers. Well, it may sound wierd but that particular prefect did really steal the test papers and I, together with a few other prefects managed to solve the case and tell the principal, if i'm not wrong. This is what I call "fun being a prefect". Also, I remember the times I and my best friend, who is also a prefect, had when we went to our brother's class to take care of them when the teachers have their meeting on Fridays. The chance of talking and playing with them was really special. Well, this gives you an opportunity to be an OGL in Primary 5! Life in Ai Tong was really fun. I will forever remember the good times I had...

I dont know why but whenever I think about the times I had in Anderson, I would feel very sad. This must be because I still miss the school very much. Anderson is unique, just very unique. Life in Anderson was very different from in Ai Tong or in NJC. I was lucky as I managed to see a new group of friends or rather classmates, which I am certain I would not have met if I had gone to RI (my 1st choice school) or SJI (my 3rd choice school). I meant their background, attitude and character. Its very different from my friends in Ai Tong or if I had gone to RI or SJI, different from the friends I would meet there. I think I was lucky that I entered Anderson and that I didnt score 262 and above or 249 and below. When I knew I got 250, I was very sad. I cried. Because I knew I could score higher. I screwed my PSLE. I really did. That was maybe why I was very sad in Sec 1, because I missed Ai Tong. But surprisingly, in Sec 2, 2/5 was the best class I ever had. I enjoyed myself tremendously in 2/5. The people were great, we achieved a lot as a class. Even though we werent the best in studies, we aced in other areas - in sports. 2/5 was definitely the best class I ever had, really. Once a 2/5ian, always a 2/5ian! :)

My only disappointment in Anderson was failing to become a councillor. I think many of my friends do not know that. I screwed the interviews. I was really sad that day when the results were out. As I said previously in this post, I have always wanted to be in council. 5 years in the prefectorial board, I was hoping to continue being in a student leadership organisation (what did I type?). Yup. So I didnt get it eventually. But surprisingly, it didnt stop me from getting another leadership post, or in fact 2. I, out of nowhere, became the President of the Anderson CIP Committee, which was closed down after a year. Ok, dont laugh at me. But its because the school felt that there is no use of such a Committee. hahax. But being a President in Sec 2 was not easy ok? My 2nd leadership post was being Captain of the Anderson Table Tennis Team. I was the Vice-Captain in Sec 2 but after the captain, Abel, now in 05IP02, left for NJ, I became the captain in Sec 3 and 4. However, I am sad to say that I feel I have done badly as Captain for 2 years. This is another thing that I feel nobody, except me, know about. Well, I was not experienced enough and starting to be Captain in Sec 3 of a B Boys Team was never easy. Speaking about this really makes me very sad because I feel this is another thing which I had failed in Anderson, apart from the council thing. But nevertheless, I enjoyed myself tremendously in Anderson. With constancy and purpose, once an Andersonian, always an Andersonian!

After achieving below expectations for PSLE, I was afraid I would not do well for O Levels, really afraid. I do not want history to repeat itself. But when I got 10 for my Prelims, I cried. I was not only disappointed but scared, scared that I cant even enter NJ, which is like my 4th and last choice JC. (Ok, I know my target is like very high) Actually to think of it, entering AJ is also Ok. But somehow I feel that if I enter any JC besides RJ, HC, VJ or NJ, I will be disappointed in myself. But luckily, for the 2nd time in my life, I was the "cut-off student" for my new school. Then for Os, I got 9 and once again, for the 3rd time, I entered my new school with their cut-off point. That means that I was lucky for the 3rd time. Well, so here I am, in NJ. Like what one of my fellow HAT member said in her blog, I have no regrets entering NJ. The people here are great, the teachers are not bad, well, the school, *ahem*, quite ok. I have no regrets. Luckily, I managed to enter council, because I know if I did not, my life in NJC would really turn out very very bad. I dont dare to imagine it. Ok. Since I have already entered NJ Council, lets not talk about what would happen if I never enter. Entering council and setting foot into NJ has definitely changed my life. People change over time and I feel I changed a lot after joining council. It has given me ample opportunities to improve myself and I have made many new friends. I love council and that's why I am putting so much effort in it now. The reason why I want to remain CCA-less at this moment is because I know that if I have a CCA now, I would definitely not go for any sessions, so I might as well not join one at this moment.

Somehow, I have seen many Councillors emoing these days. Might be because its half-term now and a brand new year is starting soon. New events, new house members, new "friendly" competition (yes, I agree, there is nothing called friendly competition). A brand new half-term, the last half-term for me in council. 5 more months. Well, it has been an enjoyable 7 months in council so far. My only regret is not going for ENOUGH council events such as council outing. :( Regrets, regrets. Another regret for the 1st half of my term is that we have not spend ENOUGH time as a HAT. Even though I have enjoyed myself in Terra HAT and that I dont regret joining HAT at all, I feel we really need to do more to click as one HAT. Dont worry, I will try my best to improve this in the 2nd half of our term, ok guys? I dont know eventually, how many of you would read this. But after reading what Han Ern said about his HAT on his blog, I think we really need to put in more effort in everything. Since we are already here, let's enjoy ourselves in HAT. :)

I hope that I would not have any regrets during Investiture or Elects Camp next year. I dont want history to repeat itself. I want to do enough to make sure I can say, "I have done what I have set out to do one year ago" during May this year. Yeah! I know I will miss the times I had in council and the bonds I have forged with friends in council and friends in Terra. Without me being a councillor, I know we wont be friends. Also, I know that I will cry during May next year, during Elects Camp or Investiture or at home. No need to be ashamed of that. All beacuse of council. :)

Speaking of friendly competition, I totally agree that there is no such thing. Last year, all the 6 houses were quite competitive. But this year, it seems as though the competitiveness has died down. But what surprised me was that, recently, some people are starting to become quite competitive. Well, I dont want to rant any further, but all I want to say is that, I am quite disappointed. I thought we were "good friends".

Hmmm... Walk-in practice tomorrow morning. Time to sleep. And woah! What a long post! :P

I got the Good Progress Award again for the 3rd time in 5 years. I seem to get it every alternate year. hahax.
I just finish watching the last episode of Heros Season 1. Being so busy with council stuff, I only managed to watch the first few and the last episode of Season 1. hahax.
I just realised that there is only around 16 days to the start of the new school year. Havent finish Econs Project yet leh. hahax. And a long list of unstarted homework stares back at me on my table. I really hope that i would get slack chem and econs teachers next year because i have not started on their homework. hahax. joking only. I want good teachers for my Year 2!
I want to watch movies, if i cant watch with my friends, i dont mind watching it by myself, which i have not tried before. hahax. i just want to go out!
I have difficulties starting on my homework.
I miss going to school. hahax.
I want to join a CCA but not now.
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy with Orientation stuff, even i also dont know why i end up like that. work just pile up in front of me, especially when your heads are...

eeewwww... can you stop disturbing me.

yah, opy. its been a long time since I even came to look at my blog. hahax. its really quite inactivated this past month.

hmmm... but this month has been quite hectic and busy with orientation stuff. to think of it, its only orientation stuff that i have been doing everyday. terra and The Quest, previously known as the External Hunt, and i have no time to do anything else already, even my homework. ok. i cant say i didnt do my homework yet because i did manage to complete only the probability tutorial, so i dont have the rights to complain that i have no time to do homework right? or i do? maybe everyone is mugging "heavily" already. hahax.

today we had terra hat meeting which turned out QUITE productive i think. and i realised something. we all need food and drinks to stay awake and concentrate. hahax. next time whenever we meet, MUST have something to munch or sip ok? hahax. :)

then we went to have lunch at prince coffee house [again] and talked for a very long time [again]. i like to have long lunches that drags into dinner time. hahax. :)

just realised that orientation = 3 house sessions. argh! planning time again. house sessions isnt easy, you know?

speaking of house sessions, today i had this sudden realisation that when i went for the briefing to introduce council to the new students for the first time (that was before i even applied to join council i think), and when i saw how enthusiastic, lively and noisy the 39th SC House Activities Team were, I knew instantly that I wasnt their type and I wont be like them, so I immediately told myself that there is certainly no possibility that i would join HAT. [or rather p(Marcus joining HAT) = 0 then, while p(Marcus joining CIA) = 1] :P Look at me now. I am in HAT. Maybe you dont get what I am feeling now, but its just this cool feeling that anything is possible in the world!

Today marks the end of PW in my JC life. It also somehow marks the end of my Year 1 in NJC. hahax. Cant believe that i'll be in J2 next year. Time flies really fast!

Its been great fun working with my PW Group NJ 059 of Yao Rong, William, Pong and Levon who have been so fun-loving and united. The OP today was not bad, especially after watching other groups do their OP. So dont be sad (even though I know you all perhaps wont) because we have already tried our best. To be frank, sometimes during the OP today, I was physically there but not mentally there. Some words just came out from my mouth without me realising. I wasnt even sure whether I said what I am supposed to say or not. But somehow, I didnt make any mistake i think as nobody told me that I said anything wrong or at the wrong time. hahax. Hope you get what I mean.

So after OP, we went for PW Group Outing to some Jap Buffet Steamboat and BBQ Restaurant for lunch. But when we reached there at around 2.30, it was closed and it closed at 2.30. lol. nvm. So we went to some nearby foodcourt for lunch. Then, we decided to go Botanic Gardens to play Bridge, but somehow we ended up in Yao Rong's house. Played cards and rested for 5 mins. LOL. Then we went back to the restaurant for dinner and feasted. The food was not bad especially the desserts such as the Chocolate (lots of) Fudge Swiss Roll. We crapped and played games and Mr Goh Weiwen came to visit us but eventually left to eat his chicken rice.

After I came home, I ate more cakes and ice cream. Ok, no, its ice cream cake. Its my father's birthday today but I didnt get him a present. Ok, nvm, its because of PW. hahax. excuses. I'll get something for him tml.

I dont want to go for - and -. Nvm. Cheer up. Just enjoy yourself. There's still CIP and Chalet. :) Looking forward to it. Plus a delicious Arsenal vs Man U match on Sat and its an early match. :P

finished watching Step Up. nice movie. but still doubting its ability of becoming a good orientation theme. got a feeling that the entire orientation thing is quite messy and sometimes, a little no link. In the first place, what does Tyraz has to do with dancing. At least Torres has something to do with the theme this year. hope that it would turn out well, really... After all, its orientation.
